Goat Amore
Sales Agreement
If you are interested in purchasing a kid from one of our breedings, please contact us via e-mail so that we can call you when our schedule (and yours) allows. We spend a lot of time with our animals and aren’t always readily available to talk. When we do connect, we want to allow lots of time to chat and answer any questions you may have. When purchasing a goat, a non-refundable deposit of $100 will hold your place in line. Once you decide on the one you want, a bill of sale will be e-mailed to you. You will be notified when the doe of your choice kids, and have 48 hours to accept. Our bill of sale outlines the terms and conditions for the sale, ensuring a smooth transaction for both parties.
We can recommend a very caring courier for your precious cargo if you’re in need. Goats are herd animals and need to be around other goats. We passionately care for the welfare of our animals. We will not sell a goat to a home that doesn’t already have a goat. If you’d like to purchase two, that’s OK. The best-case scenario is two animals around the same age. It’s nice if they have a buddy when being introduced to a new herd. At least they have an ally when the pecking order takes place! If you are purchasing multiple kids and they are to be born at different times, we will consider holding your kids until all can be delivered/picked up at the same time together.

We don’t like to part with the babies until they’re 10 weeks old. They will not need bottles at that age, and this gives us time to disbud (unless other arrangements are made,) get them started on probiotics (to get their rumen going), give first AND second CD & T vaccinations, get them used to the milk stand, trim their hooves, neuter (if need be), tattoo, give a few doses of Cylence (for flys & lice), a dose of selenium and register them with ADGA. We are heavily invested in the health and well-being of our goats. They’re on the milk stand every day, at which time they get a good go-over to make sure nothing is awry. At that time, they are fed individually, so they don’t have to compete with the queen for proper nutrition. They leave our farm healthy, after which we have no control. There’s no way to foresee any types of problems in the future such as growth, health, gene combinations, etc., which Goat Amore is not responsible for.
We retain the right to keep any kid born on our farm. We retain the right to refuse a sale for any reason. We require the right to 5 straws of semen off any buck purchased from Goat Amore, one time only at any time, at no charge to us (other than collection costs).
